Shotokan Karate. Tommy McGrane Sensei, founder of the Karate Union of Ireland and chief instructor for 31 years before his retirement from that role in 2003.Tommy remained active in karate conducting gradings and seminars for many years.  He became known as the Father of Karate in Ireland Tommy passed away on 12th March 2015.
