Niall Malone

Black Belt Grade: 8th October 1989

Niall Malone was born in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland on 23rd December 1967. Niall joined Karate on July 20th 1981 and began practicing Wado-Ryu in a club in Monkstown in Dublin.
At the age of 17, he began trying different Arts including Indonesian Silat, Ju-Jitsu, Kung-Fu, Kenpo, Tae-Kwon-Do, Self-Defence, Weapons, Kickboxing and Boxing for a time also.
On achieving his Black belt in 1989, Niall decided to dedicate more time to Martial Arts and started studying all aspects of Wado-Ryu Karate. He took the various Referees, First Aid, Nutrition, Fitness courses and realized his dream when he opened a club in November 1991.
The club is now flourishing with many members in the Monkstown location in Dublin, Niall has brought eighteen senior Instructors to their 1st, 2nd and 3rd Dan grades.
Under Niall’s instruction many of his students have reached National and World recognition in sparring and Kata. He fought for his Organisation against the UK, USA, Canada, Germany & South Africa throughout the years in various national and international competitions.
Niall’s Martial Arts ambition is to see his students, clubs and Organisation grow in knowledge and strength and establish themselves in Martial Arts.
Niall is married to Kevina and they have two sons – Jake (14) and Ryan (8)
